The Verope Service App was published by Verope AG. The app is subject to the requirements of the respective app stores. The camera in the app is used for two purposes: - Identification of a rope: In a video, various parameters of the rope are determined using image recognition. Only the resulting technical data of the rope are stored in the app, the video itself is not stored. - Documentation of a ropes condition: The photos are stored on the local device to document the condition of a rope. This data is not transmitted or disclosed. The app offers the option to create a PDF inspection report via an online service (app.verope.com). For this purpose, the data from the local inspection report is transmitted to the internet, where a PDF file is created. The data and the PDF are not stored or disclosed. This app includes links to external websites. If you use one of these links, the IP address of your device will be sent by your browser to the respective website. The app itself does not transmit any further information to the respective website.
